Alloyfish teams up with Strickland Law to provide full branding and trademark services
As the marketplace becomes ever more competitive, so it becomes harder to devise a "unique" brand name for any given client. Furthermore, there is little worse than investing a significant amount of time and effort in launching a new brand, only to find out at a later date that there is a conflict with another company, which then necessitates a costly re-brand.

Just relying on a simple Google search at the outset of a branding project may well not be enough to uncover and/or properly assess such risks.

In view of these risks, Alloyfish has adopted a new service to provide increased legal protection for clients' brands.

In association with expert trade mark lawyers, Strickland LLP, Alloyfish now offers a full service includes the following features:

1.    a trade mark clearance search to assess whether your brand is free from legal challenge.  This search can be conducted on a UK-only or on a worldwide basis.

2.    trade mark registration services - to make sure your brand is properly protected before copy-cat competitors can take unfair advantage of your brand.

3.    an intellectual property audit - further advice can be given to make sure your new company or website is complying with the relevant laws and is protecting other intellectual property rights, such as copyright, patents and design rights.

Nathan Murphy, a director of Alloyfish, comments:  "Alloyfish is proud to offer a fuller branding service to its clients.  This new service offers significant potential added value to our existing services".

Piers Strickland, Lead Partner at Strickland LLP, comments:  "We are delighted to work with Alloyfish on this project.  Time and again, our clients have found that a modest investment in up-front legal services can prevent problems occurring down the line and can increase the strength of the client?s trading position in the future".
