New Alloyfish team headed up by Toby Bennett

WeExplain - A new video animation aspect of Alloyfish kicked off last week with the release of our first 'simple' explanation video for Smart Tendering Ltd . Toby has a graphic design and animation background and has moved down from Birmingham to work with us in our Farringdon office.
 
The animations can be used to explain complicated business services or as PR focused on explaining certain sectors or confusing topics related to a business.

The Online Clinic gets a Facelift

Alloyfish has recently redesigned the website for the online clinic.  Founded in 2004, the clinic provides online consultations and treatments for common ailments such as erectile dysfunction, weight loss, hair loss and more. The new website uses similar colours as the old but with a more modern and fresh look,  Behind the scenes the site was also optimised for keywords.  Here is a screenshot of the new design:

Alloyfish teams up with Strickland Law to provide full branding and trademark services

As the marketplace becomes ever more competitive, so it becomes harder to devise a "unique" brand name for any given client. Furthermore, there is little worse than investing a significant amount of time and effort in launching a new brand, only to find out at a later date that there is a conflict with another company, which then necessitates a costly re-brand.

True Cross-Browser Rounded Corners

Achieving cross-browser rounded corners without image manipulation (ie6, ie7, ie8, FF, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome) First, use both a CSS and a Javascript solution.  The javascript method will rely on prototype (from http://www.prototypejs.org/ ), and provides support where there is no native browser facility.
